About The Position

- Responsible for the health care, and treatment of ornamental trees and shrubs on residential and commercial properties - Focus on high-quality plant health care and professional client service

Requirements

  • Valid Michigan Pesticide Applicator License (3A + 3B)
  • Strong knowledge of trees, shrubs, insects, and plant diseases common to Southeast Michigan
  • Valid Chauffeur's driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to lift equipment and work outdoors in varying weather conditions

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in tree and shrub care, lawn care, or horticulture preferred
  • Ability to work independently and manage daily routes efficiently

Responsibilities

  • Apply tree and shrub treatments, including fertilization, insect control, disease control, and soil health applications
  • Diagnose pest, disease, and nutrient deficiencies in trees and shrubs
  • Mix, apply, and document pesticides and fertilizers in compliance with Michigan regulations
  • Monitor plant health and recommend corrective actions or additional services
  • Communicate professionally with clients regarding plant conditions and care recommendations
  • Maintain accurate service records and application logs
  • Operate and maintain spray equipment, trucks, and tools
  • Follow all safety procedures, label requirements, and environmental best practices
