About The Position

The Therapist delivers clinical social work services on a designated unit, aligning with Lakeside Behavioral Health's philosophy and objectives. This role involves psychosocial assessments, individual, group, and family therapy, treatment team planning, processing commitments, discharge planning/case management, crisis intervention, and liaison services with referral sources and other hospital departments. Requirements
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Clinical/Counseling Psychology or Social Services related field
- Prior experience working with a psychiatric mental health population, preferably in an inpatient setting
- Demonstrate flexibility for reassignment to units providing care to varied populations including, adults and dually diagnosed patients in an inpatient and partial hospital setting
- Knowledge of case management, discharge planning, group leadership skills, age specific growth and development, crisis and behavior management, family therapy theory and practice
