Licensed Telehealth Therapist (Outpatient Program)
About The Position
Merakey is seeking a Licensed Therapist - Telehealth to provide person-centered, recovery-focused outpatient mental health services. This is a full-time (40 hours/week) position that is primarily telehealth-based, with limited in-person responsibilities as needed to support client care and team collaboration. This role is ideal for a clinician who loves doing therapy, works well independently, and values being part of a supportive local outpatient team rather than an isolated, platform-based telehealth model. Requirements
- Master’s degree in human services/related field
- Licensed as an LPC, LCSW, or LMFT.
- l year clinical experience working with adults with severe mental illness preferred.
- Knowledge and understanding of recovery principles and recovery driven service system.
- Valid LA Driver’s License and appropriate state and federal clearances.
Responsibilities
- Provide individual and group therapy using evidence-based, person-centered approaches, primarily through telehealth.
- Independently manage a clinical caseload, including assessment, treatment planning, and ongoing clinical intervention.
- Collaborate with the outpatient treatment team and lead mini treatment teams to ensure coordinated, high-quality care.
- Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation in accordance with organizational, regulatory, and payer requirements.
- Participate in crisis intervention and on-call rotation as required.
