About The Position

This position provides intensive clinical therapeutic services to children, adolescents, and adults with identified mental health or substance abuse diagnosis. This service is designed to meet the specific mental health needs of the identified client as they relate to their diagnosis. Outpatient therapy includes psycho-educational activities/interventions designed to assist the client of the reduction of behavioral and emotional dysfunction. Services are provided with client-centered and family-centered approaches and are delivered through intensive, time-limited, goal specific interventions.

Requirements

  • Ability to manage emotional situations in a calm and professional manner
  • Excellent organization and planning
  • Computer skills and knowledge of relevant software
  • Master’s degree in a Mental Health field (e.g.: Social Work, Psychology, Counseling)
  • Licensure/Certification (LCSW, LPC, LMFT)

Responsibilities

  • Provides therapeutic interventions to the identified client in order to enhance and foster the client’s optimal functioning
  • Conducts intake assessments with client and family members utilizing appropriate intake materials and continually assesses client needs, service availability and appropriateness.
  • Verifies client’s insurance weekly to ensure insurance coverage and appropriate billing
  • Provides individual and family sessions to the client and family member within the assigned office building
  • Utilizes telehealth services in compliance with HIPPA
  • Attends clinical supervision trainings as scheduled
  • Responsible for maintaining and managing all clinical and clerical requirements of the patient's charts
  • Participates in case consultation with Clinical Director for high risk or challenging cases
  • Documents direct service delivery and submits documentation
  • Provides therapeutic interventions to the identified client in order to enhance and foster the client’s optimal functioning and interactions in the home and community.
  • Works cooperatively with treatment team members and the family in the provision of services to meet the goals developed
  • Provides the appropriate documentation for service delivery including treatment goals, progress notes and billing and submit documentation as specified by insurance standards.
  • Responsible for filing treatment plans, progress notes, initial intake assessments and consents
  • Submits all completed services in Electronic Health Record by end of work week
  • Maintains a full schedule and meets expectations for productivity
  • Provides clinical documentation that is ethical and supported by treatment goals
