About The Position

Performs the operation, maintenance and minor repair of all the Central Plant equipment which includes but is not limited to: boilers, chillers, emergency generators, medical air compressors, vacuum pumps, water pumps, water softeners, cooling towers, automation systems, and all related equipment necessary to maintain the plant in good operating conditions.

Requirements

• State-certified licensure as relevant to trade
• Valid Driver’s License (DL) and must be at least 21 years of age or older
• L.A. City Engineer: Required in Los Angeles County
• Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS)
• Engineer (LMSC)

Nice To Haves

• High School Education/GED or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Monitors equipment condition to ensure functioning within operating standards.
• Schedules and performs minor maintenance to plant equipment.
• Coordinates work with other internal and external resources.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
