Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in architecture or related field
  • 7+ years of professional experience under a licensed PE or as a PE
  • Licensed architect required; EIT/PE in Mechanical, Electrical, Structural, or Architectural Engineering considered for the right candidate
  • Strong project management experience; willing to train on PM responsibilities if needed
  • Computer savvy with proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Microsoft 365, Bluebeam, Smartsheet, RS Means, and ERP systems (Deltech Azura/Pem)
  • Interest in business development, sales, and marketing
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and mentoring skills

Responsibilities

  • Lead mechanical/architectural design projects from concept through construction administration, ensuring quality, schedule, and budget goals are met
  • Serve as primary client and consultant contact, building and maintaining strong relationships
  • Prepare, review, and approve design calculations, construction documents, and reports
  • Oversee and mentor project teams, including junior engineers and designers
  • Conduct site visits, field observations, and system troubleshooting
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver cohesive project solutions
  • Participate in business development, proposal preparation, and marketing initiatives
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, and deliverables with accuracy and efficiency
