About The Position
Lionsgate Academy is seeking a compassionate and organized Licensed School Nurse to join our Shoreview campus team. Lionsgate's program is inclusively designed to address the unique learning needs of students living with Autism or other learning differences. The ideal candidate will bring strong clinical skills, excellent communication, and a passion for supporting students’ health and well-being in a school setting. FT 9 month position (197 duty days) in Shoreview, MN
Requirements
- Requires: Licensed School Nurse (LSN) through Minnesota PELSB (requires current RN license, registration as Public Health Nurse (PHN) and Bachelor’s degree or higher in nursing education)
Responsibilities
- Provides health services to Shoreview students, supervises health staff at 3 sites
- Provides treatment of illness and injuries to staff and students, medication administration, health assessments, staff training, immunization tracking and health record management
- Participates in IEP plan development and evaluation processes, communicates with parents/guardians, case managers and staff regarding student health needs
