We are looking for: Licensed Radiation Therapist Schedule: Monday-Friday 8a-4:30p Our Radiation Oncology team members need to have critical thinking skills, attention to detail and the ability to multitask within a strong team environment. This team focuses on developing strong client and patient relationships due to many cases requiring daily treatments. You must be able to drive the MedVet experience of excellent patient care and compassion.

Requirements

State Licensed Radiation Therapist, active licensure required
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Prior veterinary experience NOT required

Responsibilities

Deliver stereotactic, definitive and palliative radiation treatments using our Varian Trilogy linear accelerator supported by Aria/Eclipse with on-board imaging
Responsible for daily linear accelerator operations including warm-up and daily quality assurance
Ensure documentation is accurate for treatments and daily quality assurance logs
Work with the radiation oncologist to monitor patients for radiation side effects and help to ensure patient comfort
Assist with CT simulation of patients to ensure repeatable positioning for treatment
Client communication and education
