About The Position
We are searching for a Licensed Professional Counselor to join a telehealth-based care team serving clients throughout Michigan. The person in this role will provide therapy, complete assessments, support treatment planning, and keep clear clinical records that reflect each client’s progress. This is a practical, hands-on counseling role for someone who wants to focus on direct care, clinical consistency, and helping clients work through real-life mental health concerns in a virtual environment.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Counseling or a related mental health field
- Active Michigan LPC license in good standing
- Strong clinical judgment, organization, and documentation skills
Nice To Haves
- At least 1 year of post-licensure clinical counseling experience
- Experience with telehealth or outpatient mental health services
Responsibilities
- Conduct virtual therapy sessions using a secure online platform
- Complete intake evaluations and gather clinical background information
- Establish treatment goals that reflect client needs and priorities
- Deliver counseling interventions based on evidence-based practices
- Document assessments, progress notes, and treatment updates accurately
- Identify barriers to progress and adjust treatment approaches when needed
- Address urgent clinical concerns according to established procedures
