About The Position
We are hiring a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to provide virtual mental health support to clients through a telehealth platform. In this role, you will help individuals work through emotional, behavioral, and mental health concerns by offering assessments, treatment planning, counseling sessions, and ongoing progress support. This position is a strong fit for a counselor who values structure, clinical care, and the ability to make a meaningful impact from a remote setting.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Counseling or a related mental health field
- Active Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license in Mississippi
- At least 2 years of counseling experience preferred
- Strong clinical judgment and documentation skills
- Comfortable using online platforms and electronic health record systems
Nice To Haves
- Experience providing telehealth or virtual counseling is preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide individual counseling sessions through a secure telehealth platform
- Complete clinical assessments and develop treatment plans based on client needs
- Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant documentation for each session
- Monitor client progress and adjust treatment approaches when appropriate
- Support clients with coping strategies, emotional regulation, and goal setting
- Communicate professionally with clients and care teams as needed
