Pay rates are based on the adopted classified salary schedule for the 25-26 school year at this time (starting pay = $22.16 / hr). This position is 4 hours per day 4 days per week during the school year and is housed at Woodland Early Childhood Center. Hours are 11:30 a.m.-3:30 a.m. Monday through Thursday. Previous years of experience working as a certificated LPN will be credited to placement on the scale. An elementary nurse supervises the work in the health clinic as needed. Position reports to elementary RN and building principal. License from the State of Missouri to practice as as a Licensed Practical Nurse is required. Purpose Statement The job of Licensed Practical Nurse is done for the purpose/s of modifying or removing health-related barriers to learning and promoting an optimal level of wellness for students and staff; complying with the laws relating to student health, including parental and guardian consent; providing appropriate care for ill, medically fragile and/or injured students; providing health information and serving as a resource to teachers, staff, and administrators; and identifying health problems for referral for proper treatment.
