About The Position
The Vines Hospital is currently recruiting for a Full Time Licensed Practical Nurse. The Licensed Practical Nurse provides nursing care consistent to licensure under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse. Duties include data collection, medication administration, and patient teaching regarding illness, medication and maximizing states of wellness. The Vines Hospital, affiliated with Universal Health Services, is a premier behavioral health facility located in Ocala, FL. It offers individualized mental health and addiction treatment to adults and adolescents in a secure and private setting, including partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient programs, acute psychiatric, detox, and PTSD treatment. The hospital is situated in picturesque Marion County, FL, known as the Horse Capital of the World, offering various outdoor activities. Requirements
- Current licensed as a Practical Nurse in the State of Florida
- Current Basic Life Support certification
- One (1) years' experience within behavioral health or psychiatric hospital settings
Nice To Haves
- Extensive knowledge of mental health conditions including dementia care, Alzheimer's care, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities
- Background in managing complex patient cases involving acute pain management, or psychiatric emergencies
