About The Position

We're hiring dedicated, dependable Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for permanent, ongoing positions-not PRN or occasional work. This role is ideal for nurses who want steady, meaningful engagement with infant pediatric clients and are ready to provide specialized care, including Seizure Monitoring, Total Assist ADLs (Bathing, Dressing, Feeding, Toileting), Medication Administration, and Mobility Assistance/Transfers . Our 24/7 support model ensures you're never alone in the field and always backed by a responsive, reliable office team. This position is scheduled 6:15 AM - 4:15 PM, Any day on Saturday & Sunday , offering flexibility for nurses who can work any combination of days throughout the week. Requirements

  • Unencumbered license as in the State of Ohio
  • Minimum three (1) year of documented clinical experience.
  • Strong clinical skills.
  • Self-directing with the ability to work with little direct supervision
  • Certified CPR/BLS and negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
  • Licensed driver with reliable and insured automobile (proof of insurance required)
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English and communicate effectively
  • Must be able to stand walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Up-to-date vaccinations including COVID-19, Influenza, and Hepatitis B

Nice To Haves

  • Private duty, home care assistance and/or direct care experience at an assisted living or skilled nursing facility, etc., is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality care for infant pediatric clients , ensuring safety, comfort, and dignity during all activities.
  • Monitor for and respond to seizure activity , following proper protocols and reporting any changes promptly.
  • Assist with Total ADLs including bathing, dressing, feeding, and toileting, providing complete support while maintaining client dignity.
  • Administer medications safely and accurately, monitoring for side effects or changes in condition.
  • Provide mobility assistance and transfers , including use of appropriate equipment to ensure safe handling.
  • Monitor client health and promptly report any changes to the supervising nurse or healthcare team.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all care provided.
  • Follow infection control, safety, and hygiene protocols at all times.
  • Communicate effectively with clients' families and the healthcare team to ensure coordinated, compassionate care.
  • Perform all skill, treatments, and procedures to the scope of practice as defined in the Nurse Practice Act - Ohio Revised Code (ORC) of clinical practice
  • Implement treatment and plan of care, using sound judgement and critical thinking
  • Maintain accurate, detailed, and timely documentation consistent with the plan of care and the nursing processes
  • Document observed changes in patient's condition, situation, or care environment, and communicate to the Director of Nursing
  • Adhere to the policies, procedures, and protocols of the agency of employment
  • Adhere to HIPAA laws and ensure confidentiality and security of the client's medical information
