Licensed Practical Nurse - Monday-Friday - 2nd shift
About The Position

We are seeking Licensed Practical Nurses to join our team, at the program in our Allegheny County group homes, Kennedy Township area. Nurses working in our community group homes will provide oversight of medical care for 4-6 individuals per home during their shift. Nurse will travel between homes as needed. Nurses will work with the direct care staff in ensuring physician orders, medications and treatments are carried out as well as general health monitoring. Individuals are generally dependent on staff for many daily care activities, we work to increase their independence and exposure to the community. As an LPN, you will provide direct nursing care to persons with developmental and physical disabilities by completing clinical assessments, recording seizure activity as needed, and administering medications.
Requirements
- This position requires a Licensed practical Nurse.
- A minimum of one (1) year current nursing experience is preferred.
- A current Pennsylvania License and a genuine interest in working with individuals with physical and developmental disabilities.
- In addition, a current and valid Pennsylvania driver's license and reliable transportation may be required
