Organization: NFP Clinical Leader Team Job Summary: Supports the licensed healthcare team members in the provision of patient care to include direct patient care, providing healthcare information to patients/families, and following established plan of care. Works in close collaboration with the RN or a licensed healthcare team member to evaluate the patient's plan of care and progress toward goal attainment. All patient care activities are undertaken with the delegation/supervision of a licensed professional in accordance with VUMC standards and licensure regulations. This role is responsible for this role will support direct patient care including but not limited to, vitals, intake, medication administration, point of care testing and performing EKGs. In addition, this role is responsible for message pool management including gathering patient symptoms for clinician review, renewing prescriptions and accepting verbal orders. This position supports two full-time clinicians, and a part-time clinician while working beside 1-2 Medical Assistants depending on visit volume with front desk support. SHIFT: M-F (7:45 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.) .

LIC-Licensed Practical Nurse - Tennessee
Relevant Work Experience
1 year
Graduate of an approved discipline specific program
