About The Position

As a LPN, you’ll play a meaningful role in providing nursing services to individuals residing in our ICFs (Intermediate Care Facility). The LPN reports to a Registered Nurse and is responsible for working within the scope of their license to ensure that the physical health needs of the clients are met and maintained on an individualized basis in accordance with procedures and current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations. LPN will coordinate health needs with members of the client's team as well as provide necessary training to team members. LPN will also be responsible for delegating nursing tasks to certified direct service providers.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Graduate of an approved school of practical nursing
  • LPN License - State Board of Nursing
  • Must be able to communicate in English, including both spoken and in writing.
  • LPN License - State Board of Nursing
  • Ability to obtain and maintain First Aid, CPR - adult, child, and infant; delegated nursing. (training will be provided, if not already certified)
  • Valid Ohio Driver’s License with Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles
  • Proof of auto insurance.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain physical crisis intervention training (as required by program).

Nice To Haves

  • One year experience working as a LPN with intellectually or developmentally disabled individuals preferred.
