About The Position

This full-time Licensed Practical Nurse position in Charlottesville, VA, involves performing age-appropriate patient care tasks for individuals from infancy to geriatric. Key responsibilities include maintaining accurate inventory of medical supplies, assisting in the selection of division equipment and supplies, and executing all nursing procedures as directed by clinicians in accordance with the Nursing Procedure Manual. The role also requires participation in quality assurance and control, supporting a team-based approach to patient-centered medical care, engaging in continuing education, and ensuring efficient patient flow. The ideal candidate will demonstrate dedication to detail and accuracy, respect for patient confidentiality, and possess a pleasant, patient, understanding, and flexible demeanor. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential, along with experience or knowledge of medical office systems, supplies, and equipment, and demonstrated clinical competence.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in emergency room and community nursing preferred.
  • Current CPR certification, preferred.
  • Experience in telephone triage, preferred.

Responsibilities
