About The Position

A Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at United Health Services (UHS) provides skilled nursing care tasks and procedures under the direction of an RN, nurse practitioner, clinical nurse specialist, physician, or other authorized health care provider. This role is within the UHS Gastroenterology Binghamton department, with a primary work shift during the day, totaling 40 regular scheduled weekly hours. UHS is a locally owned, not-for-profit healthcare system in New York’s Southern Tier, comprising four hospitals, long-term care and home care services, and physician practices. Requirements

  • Graduated an accredited school of Practical Nursing
  • Current New York State Practical Nurse License, a Limited Permit, or ability to practice within the 90 day grace period allowed by New York State guidelines
