Schedule: Full-Time Days (40 hours per week) What You’ll Do Under the direction of a professional RN or supervising Physician, participates in delivering nursing care to clinic patients following established standards and practices. Assists physician and staff in coordinating patient care. Functions as liaison between patients, staff and physician. Freeman in Joplin, Missouri, is a 460-bed, three-hospital system providing comprehensive healthcare services to an area that includes more than 450,000 from Missouri, Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Kansas. Freeman Health System includes Freeman Hospital West, Freeman Hospital East, Freeman Neosho Hospital and Ozark Center – the area’s largest provider of behavioral health services – as well as two urgent care clinics, dozens of physician clinics and a variety of specialty services.
Requirements
- AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers within 30 days.
- Clinic Competency Assessment annually by transcript due date.
- Current Missouri Practical Nurse license or current Practical Nurse license from a compact state. If a compact license is held, it must be in the nurse's state of residence.
