About The Position

DaVita is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse who is looking to give life in an outpatient dialysis center. This role offers the opportunity to make an exceptional difference in the lives of patients and their families dealing with end-stage renal failure or chronic kidney disease. No dialysis experience is required, and training will be provided, potentially in a facility or training clinic other than the assigned home clinic. The position requires a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Nurses will build meaningful and long-term relationships with patients and their families in an intimate outpatient setting, working as part of a supportive team. They will deliver care to patients with multiple co-morbidities, requiring unique treatment plans and a broad range of nursing skills. The role is fast-paced and requires a commitment to improving patient health through clinical goal setting and quality improvement initiatives. Requirements

  • Current LPN-LVN license in the state of practice required
  • Current CPR certification required
  • IV certification required if required by state regulations
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Completed training program approved by the medical director and the governing body as required by CMS guidelines prior to operating the water treatment system
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Word and Outlook required
  • Functional proficiency in computer systems of DaVita within 90 days of hire required

Nice To Haves

  • BONENT or CHT certification preferred or as required by state regulation
  • Minimum of one year's experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred
