About The Position
Centurion is proud to be the provider of mental health services to the Georgia Department of Corrections. We are currently seeking a part-time Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Special Management Unit– Jackson, GA. Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license or ability to obtain one required
- Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
Responsibilities
- providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients
- working under the direction of Registered Nurses (RN) and medical and psychiatric staff
- respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs
