About The Position

Valley View Retirement Community Part-Time • 7AM - 3PM • Every Other Weekend/Holiday Valley View is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support the health, safety, and well-being of residents within our Personal Care community. In this meaningful leadership role, you will deliver hands-on nursing support while guiding Resident Assistants and ensuring care is delivered in accordance with regulations, best practices, and our mission-driven values. Requirements

  • Current Pennsylvania Practical Nursing License (LPN)
  • Knowledge of Personal Care Home regulations and guidelines
  • Ability to lead, guide, and support Resident Assistant team members
  • Strong communication skills and ability to read, write, and speak English
  • Commitment to mission-driven, resident-centered care

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a Personal Care or Long-Term Care setting
  • Additional familiarity with state regulatory standards and compliance practices

Responsibilities

  • Provide resident services including personal care, medication support, meals, and activities
  • Direct the day-to-day work of Resident Assistants, offering guidance and oversight
  • Review resident support plans to stay informed of needs, preferences, and care requirements
  • Ensure compliance with Personal Care Home regulations, policies, and clinical standards
  • Participate in facility surveys and regulatory inspections as requested
  • Complete and maintain accurate clinical documentation, incident reports, and resident records
  • Report discrepancies related to physician orders, diet changes, or charting concerns
  • Support resident dignity, privacy, independence, and individuality at all times
  • Model and promote person-centered care and Valley View’s Mission, Vision, and Values
