Position Summary: Assists the provider and staff members in providing optimal care to patients under the direction of the Physician or Advanced Practitioner. Prepares treatment rooms for examination including inspections for cleanliness and equipment conditions, stocks and maintains rooms and nurses stations with adequate supplies. Greets and escorts patients to exam rooms; prepares for provider visits by obtaining initial patient history/information and vital signs; assists with exams, test and special procedures as directed. Assists with scheduling appointments, pre-certifying patients, referral contacts, clinical and clerical duties.
