Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - PRN
About The Position
CorrectHealth is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a PRN (as needed) opportunity in Covington, LA. The LPN will be an integral part of the healthcare team and law enforcement, participating in the clinical aspects of patient care. This role involves performing duties under the supervision of an RN, HSA, Mid Level Provider, Physician, or the administrative supervision of the HSC. The LPN is expected to possess the knowledge and ability to provide quality care and respond to needs within a correctional environment, while maintaining the standards and ethics of nursing in accordance with applicable State Board of Nursing and other accrediting agencies.
Requirements
- Graduate from a national or state approved school of nursing program
- Holds and maintains a current license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of employment
- American Heart Association BLS certified
