Palmetto Lowcountry Behavioral Health is now seeking to fill Full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)/ Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) positions. $10,000 sign on bonus Position Summary The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) / Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) will provide care for patients with a variety of behavioral health disorders whose ages range from adolescent through geriatric. The LPN/LVN is an integral part of the interdisciplinary treatment team working under the guidance of a Registered Nurse. The LPN/LVN implements therapeutic interventions developed by the treatment team and tracks patient progress towards treatment plan goals. Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited college of nursing.
- Minimum of one (1) year of recent experience preferred, but not required. New Graduates accepted.
- Child, Adolescent, Adult and Geriatric
- Currently licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse in the state of South Carolina. New Graduates Accepted
- CPR/CPI Certification Required – provided upon hire
Responsibilities
- Provides direct care to patients on assigned unit.
- Administers and documents prescribed medications and treatments.
- Establishes therapeutic rapport with the patient, provides support and utilizes approved crisis intervention techniques.
