About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a clinical setting. This role involves working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to support patient care delivery while ensuring safety, comfort, and adherence to clinical standards. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical expertise, particularly in orthopaedic care, and the ability to effectively collaborate with patients and healthcare teams.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) program
• Active and valid New Jersey LPN license
• Current BLS/CPR certification (American Heart Association required)
• Minimum 5+ years of experience preferred
• Strong orthopaedic knowledge and clinical skills
• Excellent communication and patient care abilities

Nice To Haves

• Orthopaedic experience highly preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including assistance with hygiene, ambulation, and meals
• Perform ongoing patient assessments (physiological, psychosocial, and cognitive)
• Assist with preoperative and postoperative care
• Conduct medication reconciliation and provide patient education
• Follow and communicate clinical protocols effectively
• Maintain a safe patient environment and respond promptly to patient needs
• Monitor patient conditions and report any changes to the RN
• Deliver individualized care to diverse patient populations
• Collaborate with healthcare team members, patients, and caregivers
