About The Position
As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will perform skilled nursing care for patients ages 0-21 under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. All LPNs perform duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission and core values of excellence, integrity, compassion, service and stewardship.
Requirements
- Completion of LPN Nursing Program
- School Clinical experience required in addition to 1+ year of profession experience as an LPN
- Registration and current LPN license by Oklahoma Board of Nursing
- CPR Certification may be obtained upon hire
- PALS Certification may be obtained upon hire
Responsibilities
- Performs routine nursing procedures for the comfort, safety and well being of assigned children
- Documents patient assessments, care planning, interventions and evaluations
- Receives patient orders, initiates new orders and requests orders based on the changing condition and assessment of the child
- Collaborates with assigned practitioner
