Requirements

  • Graduation from a school of nursing in practical nursing required
  • Current VA LPN license required
  • BLS required within 30 days of hire, or prior to completion of orientation if 30 days before hire

Responsibilities

  • Provides quality care to our customers and performs those functions delegated and assigned by the center’s head nurse.
  • Is familiar with and follows HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality.
  • Maintains record keeping of appointments, orders, reports, films, and requisitions.
  • Demonstrates excellent customer service through his/her attitude and actions, consistent with the standards contained in the Vision, Mission, and Values of the organization.
  • Administering nursing care, medications and assisting physicians with procedures and monitoring as designated by the supervising or ordering physician.
