We’re currently seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Skilled Nursing and Inpatient Rehab Department at our Galion and Bucyrus locations. Position Overview Assesses, plans, and implements the nursing care of patients within the nursing unit with the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN). Responsible for ensuring continuity of care of the patients between shifts by providing direct care as well as assisting with the care given by the Nursing Assistants and supportive staff members. Participates in patient and family teaching. Maintains role as patient advocate with a focus on the facility’s mission.
Requirements
- Current State Licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
- BLS certification or obtained within thirty (30) days of hire.
- ACLS certification or obtained within six (6) months of hire.
Nice To Haves
- Two (2) or more years of previous experience in rehabilitation nursing or hospital setting.
