Skilled Nursing LPN
About The Position
We are looking for an experienced and motivated LPN to join our growing team in Williamsville, NY. About us: Canterbury Woods is a continuing care retirement community unlike any you’ve ever seen. Our CARF-accredited skilled nursing facility proudly features 50 private rooms and a focus on person-centered care. LPN position details: We are hiring for a Full Time (5 days/week) 3pm - 11pm LPN. This position is eligible for a recruitment and retention bonus of up to $10,000.
Requirements
- Must have credentials as an LPN with a current New York State license.
- Must be CPR and first aid certified.
- Must have verbal and written English skills.
Responsibilities
- Review resident care needs and physician’s orders.
- Participate in the development and implementation of care plans, including quarterly reviews, as they relate to care.
- Prepare, administer, and document medications as per procedure.
- Assure accuracy of medication and treatment book.
- Collect data and report resident concerns for follow-through.
- Ensure that all care notes are informative and descriptive of the care provided and of the resident’s response to the care.
- Ensure appropriateness and completeness of documentation by CNA staff.
- Conduct regular walking rounds of nursing unit.
