Requirements
- Associate Degree (AA) or higher in Nursing
- Active LPN license in the state of employment
- 2+ years of psychiatric nursing experience preferred
- Substance use or detox experience strongly preferred
- CPR certification required
- ACLS preferred
- First Aid certification required
- Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs as needed
- Passion for behavioral health and addiction recovery
- Commitment to a drug-free lifestyle and responsible alcohol use
- Authorization to work in the United States
Responsibilities
- Monitoring patients to ensure safety and adherence to program protocols
- Conducting ongoing patient assessments and communicating changes in condition
- Ordering and coordinating toxicology screens, labs, and pharmacy needs
- Reviewing lab results and communicating findings to Providers
- Taking and documenting vital signs
- Administering medications safely and accurately
- Responding to medical emergencies and obtaining physician orders
- Completing admission screenings for appropriateness of care
- Overseeing patient monitoring stations and delegating as appropriate
- Managing on-site narcotics and ensuring compliance
- Leading patient community meetings as needed
- Participating in Performance Improvement initiatives
- Supporting and guiding other nursing staff as needed
- Collaborating closely with clinical, operations, and external partners
