About The Position
Park Place Health and Wellness, an Assisted Living Community, located in St. John, IN is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Part Time, 10:00PM - 6:30AM. Shift differential added to hourly pay at $2.00/hour. Shift Hours: 10:00PM - 6:30AM. Must be able to work every weekend. Shift differential included at $2.00/hour. Requirements
- Must be a Licensed Practice in the state of Indiana.
- Pass a physical, drug screen, 50-pound lift test, fingerprint for criminal background and complete the orientation program.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in long-term care is a plus but not required.
Responsibilities
- Responsible to provide direct nursing care to the clients and manage the day to day activities performed by the Certified Nursing Assistants working as a team.
- Administers medications and treatments according to physician orders.
- Provides education and guidance to clients and their families on disease process and management.
- Ensure adequate medical supplies are available to meet the medical needs of the patients.
- Receive and review nursing report at the beginning of the shift and compile nursing report at the end of the shift.
- Monitor vital signs in accordance with the resident's treatment plan.
