Responsible for transporting materials throughout the facility primarily by use of powered industrial fork trucks and maintain documentation related to those items.

Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and understand instructions.
Maintain good sanitation and housekeeping practices.
Comply with all quality system and regulatory requirements.
Work in a safe and efficient manner.
Requires regular attendance.
Ability to manipulate, lift and position heavy equipment
Able to bend, stoop, kneel and crawl, occasionally climb steps and safety ladders, continuous walking and standing
Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 50lbs

Responsibilities

Inventory control and validate counts
Generate production tickets/tags
Apply documentation to correct pallets
Document production
Ensure safety and quality of work
Perform safety inspections of equipment
Move product through different areas and environments
Operate multiple styles of fork truck
Handle and use cleaning chemicals and perform sanitation duties
Other duties as assigned
