About The Position
Samba Recovery is a private, high-acuity detox and recovery facility dedicated to providing individualized, evidence-based care in a discreet and therapeutic environment. The team is committed to clinical excellence, patient dignity, and long-term recovery outcomes. The facility is seeking an experienced and professional Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) to join its clinical team under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. This role is ideal for a nurse who values precision, compassion, and a calm, patient-centered approach.
Requirements
- Active, unrestricted LPN/LVN license in the state of Georgia
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
- Current CPR/BLS certification
Nice To Haves
- ACLS preferred
- Prior experience in detoxification, behavioral health, or acute care strongly preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive, high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing medical detoxification
- Monitor and document vital signs, withdrawal symptoms, and clinical status with accuracy and consistency
- Administer medications in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
- Communicate effectively with the RN regarding patient progress and clinical concerns
- Contribute to a calm, safe, and therapeutic milieu
- Maintain thorough, compliant documentation in alignment with regulatory and accreditation standards
- Respond to clinical changes with sound judgment and professionalism
