About The Position
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join a dynamic acute care team. This role offers placement in Rehabilitation, Med/Surg, or Emergency Department (ED) based on experience. The ideal candidate is adaptable, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality patient care.
Requirements
- Active New York State LPN License
- Minimum 1 year of LPN experience
- Current CPR Certification (or ability to obtain)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Nice To Haves
- Prior inpatient or acute care experience
- Experience with EMR systems
- Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under RN/physician supervision
- Monitor vital signs and perform patient assessments
- Administer medications and injections as directed
- Assist with exams and procedures (e.g., injections, minor treatments)
- Prepare exam rooms, equipment, and medical supplies
- Observe and report changes in patient condition
- Maintain accurate documentation in EMR systems
- Support patient flow, including rooming and preparation for evaluation
- Coordinate with healthcare teams for comprehensive care delivery
- Assist with scheduling, chart preparation, and unit operations
- Ensure a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment
