This position provides nursing care out of our Resident Care Clinic (RCC) to residents and responds to medical emergencies on campus. This is a full time position. 12 hour day shifts, 36 hours a week.

Requirements

Current nursing license valid in state worked
Valid driver license with satisfactory driving record
Willingness to be available for any/all emergencies regarding the community

Responsibilities

Monitors nurse call station and responds accordingly.
Administers treatments when necessary, including but not limited to: First Aid, CPR, Eye Drops, vital signs, medication administration, etc.
Assists in direct resident care as necessary.
Maintains accurate documentation of resident visits to Resident Care Center and emergency situations.
Follows infection control standard precautions and safety policies per agency, state and federal regulations. Uses personal protective equipment as needed. Properly disposes of any contaminated waste materials.
Maintains confidentiality of all resident interactions
Performs assigned tasks during emergency events such as fire, electrical failure or natural disasters.
May drive company vehicle to escort residents.
