About The Position

PRN (Per Required Need) / On-Call Position This is an as-needed, on-call role with no guaranteed hours. Minimum Availability Requirements: Commitment to at least two (2) weekend shifts per month (Saturday and/or Sunday) Intermittent weekday availability as needed Flexibility to work Day, PM, and NOC shifts (PMs and NOCs are most needed) Availability to work some holidays Availability to attend a Wednesday New Employee Orientation Additional Details: Shifts may be scheduled in advance or offered with short notice No guaranteed hours No benefits or insurance offered for PRN status Non-union position Note: This overview/Ad is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties, responsibilities or qualifications associated with the job. We currently provide comprehensive management services to several inpatient healthcare centers throughout Northern IL & the Chicagoland area. These settings include Long-term Care Skilled Nursing (SNFs), Short-term Care Rehabilitation, Intermediate Care (ICFs), and Behavioral Health Service (SMHRFs) centers. Each center is unique; offering you a variety of long-term career opportunities.

Requirements

  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in IL
  • Prior floor nurse experience within a skilled nursing facility is strongly preferred
  • Experience with the post-acute patients – specifically the cardiac, post op ortho & the medically complex
  • Electronic medical records experience is helpful (Point Click Care or PCC is ideal)
  • Commitment to at least two (2) weekend shifts per month (Saturday and/or Sunday)
