At Appalachian Community Services, we are looking for compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our Behavioral Health Urgent Care (BHUC) team. As a BHUC LPN, you will provide essential crisis care, assist individuals through critical moments, and deliver client-centered, solution-focused nursing support. This full-time role is salaried non-exempt, offering overtime opportunities—get paid for the difference you make! Part time role is $28.84 a hour. Build Your Purpose. As a BHUC LPN, you will: Conduct telephonic screenings to assess appropriateness for admission. Perform nursing screenings upon arrival, including pregnancy tests, urine drug screens, and breathalyzers. Collaborate with prescribers to review clinical information and determine medication needs or alternative care options. Prepare, administer, and monitor prescribed medications. Requirements

  • Graduated from an Approved Nursing Program
  • Active LPN Licensure through the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
