As an outpatient orthopedic physical therapist, you’re the go-to expert for people who are recovering from injuries, surgeries, or just dealing with the day-to-day aches and pains of life. Your job? Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Program
- Current or pending state licensure as a Physical Therapist required (New grads are encouraged to apply!)
- A passion for delivering exceptional patient care and achieving outstanding outcomes
- A commitment to ongoing learning and professional development
Responsibilities
- Design personalized treatment plans that could involve a mix of stretching, strengthening, and modalities
- Lead patients through exercises and stretches that build strength and flexibility
- Keep track of patient’s progress, making sure they’re improving and adjusting the treatment plan if needed
- Teach patients the secrets of injury prevention, good posture, and how to move with confidence
- Communicate with orthopedic doctors, surgeons, and other specialists to make sure patients are getting the best care possible
