About The Position

Amethyst Consulting & Treatment Solutions, PLLC is seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Outpatient Clinical Assessor and Clinician to join their growing team. In this role, the clinician will provide therapy and support to children, adolescents, and families across a variety of settings. Responsibilities include conducting mental health assessments, developing treatment plans, and delivering therapy in the office, home, or community. This is an opportunity for both fully licensed and associate-level clinicians to grow their clinical career in a flexible and supportive environment. The role aims to improve access to quality behavioral healthcare for underserved populations, help families develop healthier relationships and communication skills, prevent out-of-home placements by stabilizing home environments, support long-term success and resilience in youth and families, and serve as a vital connector between individuals and community resources.

Requirements

  • Licensed or associate-level clinician in NC: LCSW, LCMHC, LMFT, or LCAS
  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related behavioral health field
  • 2+ years of post-master’s clinical experience required
  • Experience providing CBT (minimum 2 years)
  • Experience providing Crisis intervention (minimum 1 year)
  • Experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families
  • Eligible to join Medicaid and private insurance panels
  • Comfortable working independently in varied environments
  • Strong assessment and diagnostic skills (DSM-5 proficiency)
  • Clear, concise clinical documentation and case management
  • Effective communication (written and verbal)
  • Organized, dependable, and able to meet deadlines
  • Empathetic, culturally responsive, and trauma-informed
  • Strong collaboration skills with colleagues and outside agencies
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and prioritize tasks

Responsibilities

  • Conduct clinical mental health assessments and evaluations
  • Create and implement individualized treatment plans with measurable goals
  • Provide therapy services: Individual, Family, Group
  • Deliver services in-office, in-home, and community settings
  • Offer crisis intervention and urgent care as needed
  • Document services within 24 hours of delivery
  • Collaborate with internal teams, primary care providers, and community partners
  • Attend clinical meetings, team supervision, and professional development sessions
  • Maintain compliance with Medicaid and private insurance panel guidelines
