About The Position

NFI Massachusetts, Inc., a private non-profit human service organization, is currently seeking a Master’s Level Clinician for the Outpatient Clinic located in Haverhill, MA. The NFI Clinic is a great place to work! The mission of the Ambulatory Services Division is to provide the highest quality mental health, substance abuse treatment and prevention to our consumers. Our dedicated staff works with consumers in the community and within an outpatient clinic setting. We partner with service providers to assist clients in the most comprehensive way possible. We are currently seeking an outpatient clinician to work with children and adolescents, as well as adults.

Requirements

  • Must have completed a Master’s degree from an accredited school in Counseling, Social Work, or a related field (LMHC, LMFT, or LICSW eligible).
  • Previous experience with children and adolescents preferred.
  • Experience in the field of mental health and substance abuse preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational and writing skills.
  • Flexible schedule some evenings and/or Saturdays required.

Responsibilities

  • Completion of intakes and assessments for appropriate level of service.
  • Completion of individual treatment plans.
  • Ongoing individual, and possibly group therapy
  • Harm-reduction and recovery planning as needed.
  • Crisis intervention as needed.
  • Referrals to community resources.
  • Collaboration with other natural and formal supports.
