The Eye Associates, an affiliate of Eye Health America, is a growing, multi-specialty ophthalmology practice. Our focus is on excellence in patient care and creating an exceptional customer/patient experience. We are currently seeking a licensed optician to join our growing optical department in Venice.The ideal candidate is a motivated multi-tasker with a positive, team-oriented attitude and a strong commitment to patient care. Flexibility is essential, as occasional overtime may be required and travel to our other office locations is part of the role.
Requirements
- Must be a licensed optician in the state of Florida.
- Must have an active and valid Driver's License.
Responsibilities
- Assisting patients and customers with the selection of frames, lenses, and lens treatments.
- Ordering lenses from the lab.
- Filing insurance claims.
- Final inspection of lab work prior to notifying patient that their order is ready.
- Return and track returns for inventory purposes.
- Processing invoices for payment.
