About The Position

The Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA/LNFA) is responsible for the overall management and leadership of the skilled nursing facility, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to senior residents. This role involves strategic planning, regulatory compliance, and operational oversight to maintain a safe, supportive, and efficient environment for both residents and staff. The LNFA acts as a key liaison between healthcare providers, families, and regulatory agencies, advocating for resident well-being and organizational excellence. They lead and inspire multidisciplinary teams to uphold best practices in senior care while managing budgets, staffing, and facility resources effectively. Ultimately, the LNFA ensures that the nursing home meets all legal, ethical, and quality standards while fostering a culture of compassion and respect for the elderly population served.

Requirements

  • Valid and current Nursing Home Administrator license in Texas or Florida.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in nursing home administration or senior care management.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of healthcare regulations, Medicare and Medicaid requirements, and senior care best practices.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills demonstrated through previous supervisory roles.
  • The Licensed Nursing Home Administrator utilizes leadership skills daily to guide and motivate a multidisciplinary team, ensuring cohesive and effective care delivery.
  • Senior care expertise is essential for understanding the unique needs of elderly residents and implementing appropriate care plans and facility policies.
  • Strong communication skills facilitate collaboration with healthcare providers, residents’ families, and regulatory bodies, ensuring transparency and trust.
  • Financial acumen and organizational skills are applied to manage budgets, staffing, and resources efficiently, maintaining operational sustainability.
  • Additionally, problem-solving and critical thinking skills are used to proactively address challenges, improve quality outcomes, and ensure compliance with evolving healthcare standards.
