Qualifications Needed for Success for a Licensed Mental Health Therapist/Counselor •Master’s degree in social work with license – either LSW or LPC required; experience providing therapy/counseling preferred. •Ability to maintain thorough, timely, well documented treatment plans, case notes and intake summaries, illustrating caseload measurable treatment progress in computerized medical records system. •Must have working knowledge of mental illness, psychiatric symptoms, and their impact on functioning and behavior of a diverse client population. •Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
