Position Summary Based on experience and education, new hires in this position are expected to start at $18.16 per hour plus an additional $1 per hour premium pay for working nights. CVS Health has an exciting new opportunity to be a part of our Mail Order Pharmacy team in Mount Prospect, IL. As a materials pharmacy technician you will be involved in multiple areas including: receiving and stocking of transferred medications, processing out-of-stocks, medication transfers, moving product to new locations, checking medications to ensure they have sufficient dating to dispense, & retrieving product from the warehouse to fulfill member orders. You may be cross-trained on other functions within the facility and your efforts will affect the lives of thousands of patients who rely on these critical specialty medications to be delivered from our pharmacy. In order to be successful in this role you must be able to stand for periods of time throughout your shift, push/reach/twist/turn/bend/stand/walk and lift up to 30 lbs., but primarily the job involves working at a desk on a computer system. During your time at CVS as a pharmacy technician you will be exposed to multiple job functions. This will give you the chance to apply for future promotional opportunities and advance in your career. This is an onsite 2nd shift position. The schedule would either be five 8-hour shifts (3pm-1130pm) running from Monday->Friday (off Sat/Sun) or four 10-hour shifts (3pm-130am) running from Tuesday->Friday (off Sat/Sun/Mon). Requirements

• Active Illinois Pharmacy Technician License REQUIRED
• Some computer & keyboarding experience
• Regular and predictable attendance.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification through PTCB or ExCPT through NHA required for all those licensed after 2008.
• Pharmacy Technician Certification Exam successfully passed by December 31st of your 2nd IL Pharmacy Technician License renewal

Nice To Haves

• Experience working on SAP systems.
• Experience working in a Mail Order Pharmacy.
• Already NHA ExCPT or PTCB certified
