Licensed Master Social Worker - Adult Outpatient Behavioral Health
About The Position
Full Time M-F: 8:30am - 5:00pm. Hours can flex until 8pm twice a week. We re are a HRSA site. There is loan forgiveness opportunity for Licensed Clinical Social Workers POSITION SUMMARY: Provides evaluation and individual/group therapy within Adult Outpatient Behavioral Health setting. Responsible for providing intensive casework, assessment, intervention and referral services to patients and/or their families. Emphasis is placed on providing for patient’s social needs, exercising initiative and independent judgement based upon professional knowledge, experience and hospital policy. Liaison to other services along the continuum of care and community support services.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree from an accredited graduate school of social work, marriage and family therapy, or mental health counseling.
- Licensed to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) OR Licensed Master Social Worker ( LMSW) OR Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT) OR Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) through the State of New York
Responsibilities
