The Nutmeg Insurance Agency is an internal agency of The Hartford, dedicated to delivering a personalized experience to both new and existing customers. When The Hartford cannot meet a customer’s needs directly, Nutmeg leverages partnerships with specialty carriers to provide alternative insurance solutions. Requirements

Personal Lines (PL) or Property & Casualty (P&C) license required, must maintain all required state licenses and terminate prior carrier appointments as needed
2+ years' insurance experience
Comfort with negotiating and overcoming objections
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, while navigating multiple systems
Capacity to stay agile amidst the constantly changing insurance industry.
Strong ability to work independently and collaboratively
This is a customer-facing role requiring your full attention. A distraction-free environment is essential.
For full-time, occasional, part-time, or remote positions: (1) high speed broadband internet service is required, we do not recommend or support DSL, wireless, Wi-Fi, Hotspots, Fiber without a modem and Satellite; (2) Internet provider supplied modem/router/gateway is hardwired to the Hartford issued computer with an ethernet cable; and (3) minimum upload/download speeds of 10Mbps/300 Mbps will be required.
