As a Licensed Financial Banker within PNC's Wealth Management organization, this role is based in Charlotte, NC. PNC is an in-office company that fosters a supportive culture. The position involves developing and executing strategies for Mass Affluent client acquisition, outreach, and retention to generate revenue and deepen existing client relationships. This includes proactively generating and managing leads, holding virtual client appointments, and leveraging consultative skills and knowledge of bank products to grow share of wallet and attract new mass affluent households. The role requires developing and maintaining internal partnerships to drive new revenue and growth, managing risk, maximizing profitability for the client portfolio, and delivering a differentiated client experience from acquisition through servicing. It also involves maintaining proactive, timely, accurate, and complete sales/client relationship management administration tasks, ensuring execution of team processes like pre-call planning and relationship reviews, and serving as the quarterback for ecosystem partners. The banker will deliver Financial Wellness by suggesting tailored solutions, leverage client insight and sales tools for actionable strategies, and achieve business results through collaboration with ecosystem partners. They will also develop ecosystem leadership outside the branch as a Center of Influence (COI), own client relationships and penetration goals with eco-system partners, and deliver the Mass Affluent Advice and Planning value proposition through a joint Banking and Investing partnership with a PNC Financial Advisor. A strong client commitment and advocacy are expected through proactive and responsive service.

Requirements

  • University / college degree, with 2+ years of relevant professional experience.
  • In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.
  • Bachelors degree.
  • FINRA Series 7, 66 (or 63 & 65) required.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategies to proactively drive Mass Affluent client acquisition, outreach and retention for purposes of generating revenue and deepening share of wallet with existing clients.
  • Proactively generate and manage leads and hold client appointments virtually.
  • Leverages needs based and consultative conversational skills, experience, and acquired knowledge of bank products and services and positions appropriately to grow share of wallet and attract new mass affluent households.
  • Virtually develops and maintains internal partnerships to drive new revenue, acquisition and growth.
  • Manages risk and maximizes profitability for entire portfolio of clients.
  • Delivers a differentiated client experience in all elements of the relationship, from acquisition through onboarding and servicing.
  • Maintains proactive, timely, accurate and complete sales/client relationship management administration tasks as determined by the business.
  • Ensures execution of team processes, such as pre-call planning, post-call debriefs and relationship reviews.
  • Serves as the quarterback for all ecosystem partners, bringing in experts based on needs identified, and ensuring an exceptional experience in every interaction.
  • Delivers Financial Wellness by proactively suggesting tailored solutions aligned with client needs.
  • Leverages client insight and sales tools to translate into actionable sales strategies and tactics, proactively identifying and successfully converting sales opportunities and delivering an exceptional client experience.

  • Virtually develops ecosystem leadership outside of the branch as a Center of Influence (COI).
  • Own the client relationship and holds team accountable for deliverables.

  • Deliver the Mass Affluent Advice and Planning value proposition through a joint Banking and Investing partnership with a PNC Financial Advisor.
  • Ensures a strong client commitment and advocacy by delivering proactive and responsive service to meet client goals.
