As a Licensed Financial Banker Sales Manager within PNC's Wealth Management organization, you will be based in Charlotte, NC. Series 7 and 66 licenses required, 24 preferred. This role involves managing and directing a team to achieve business results and customer experience goals. It may also include direct sales and client responsibilities. The position oversees the execution of strategy and leads and coordinates the daily activities of team members engaged in customer and/or prospect management activities. The manager is responsible for achieving business results, attracting new customers, and/or growing existing customer relationships by coaching and managing to defined strategies and tactics. This includes developing and overseeing the execution of account and sales plans, managing risk/return, and driving quality for new and/or existing clients. The role actively identifies and mitigates different types of risk, such as regulatory, reputational, operational, and credit risks. It requires managing an effective network of senior internal and external relationships, including community or industry relationships, to actively acquire new clients and/or expand existing clients and enhance the client experience, focusing on bringing the full range of PNC's products and services to the client. The manager leverages reporting and sales tools to proactively identify and successfully convert sales opportunities. Additionally, the role involves developing team members while monitoring progress against individual goals, motivating and developing staff, acquiring top talent, and managing performance-based issues. The manager effectively plans, organizes, directs, analyzes, and evaluates staff and processes, connecting strategy to day-to-day activities and updating the team regularly. As defined with the business, the manager coaches team members on skills needed to analyze, evaluate, and mitigate credit risk and to lead others on credit requests by utilizing advanced knowledge of credit fundamentals and internal credit policies. Requirements

  • Series 7 license
  • Series 66 license
  • Appropriate knowledge, skills, and abilities for a role.
  • Knowledgeable of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions and able to leverage that information in creating customized customer solutions (Customer Focused).
  • Assessing and effectively managing all of the risks associated with their business objectives and activities to ensure they adhere to and support PNC's Enterprise Risk Management Framework (Managing Risk).
  • University / college degree (Bachelor's).
  • 8+ years of industry experience.
  • At least 5 years of prior management experience.
  • FINRA Series 7, 24 (or 9,10) and 66 (or 63,65) required.
