About The Position
Join a dedicated team committed to providing high-quality oral healthcare to the community in Rochester, MN. We are seeking a full-time Licensed Dental Hygienist to deliver patient-centered preventive and therapeutic care while promoting oral health education. Hours are: Monday-Thursday (4 days/week), 7 AM - 4:30 PM. Why Join Us? Competitive Hourly Pay (Non-Exempt Position) Loan Forgiveness Opportunities: Up to $55,000 for full-time and Up to $30,000 for part-time
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program
- Active Minnesota dental hygiene license in good standing
- 2-4 years of clinical experience preferred, but not required
- Current CPR (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross
- Local anesthesia/N2O certification
- Valid state driver’s license
Responsibilities
- Perform dental prophylaxis and periodontal therapies, including scaling & root planning
- Conduct oral cancer screenings and periodontal charting
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care practices
- Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide (N2O) as certified
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with safety protocols
- Collaborate with dental providers to ensure comprehensive patient care
